FUNDING
The SHC Community Projects programme is funded by sponsorship, donations and in some cases the schools themselves. We aim to create self-sustaining programmes and create links between schools and local hockey clubs, providing ongoing access to hockey for children as they progress.

As a registered charity, we work in association with Surbiton Hockey Club (SHC) in the Kingston & Elmbridge areas and have previously teamed up with other clubs such as Cheam HC, Ashford (Middlesex) HC and Staines HC.
​
We want to help more children have the opportunity to play hockey and we are always happy to help support programmes and clubs in other local areas. We have already expanded our programme to other areas in London, including Southwark and Honor Oak.
​
The Buffini Chao Foundation have been an integral funding partner for SHC for several years and we are extremely grateful for their ongoing support. Find out more about the projects the Foundation supports here
We also receive support from Surrey Hockey Association, Active Surrey, Burgess Sports, Elmbridge Borough Council and England Hockey.
